Jaggies - The jagged effects seen when a PC tries to recreate a curved or diagnol surface in three dimensions are called "jaggies". The technical name is aliased and the solution to the problem is either using a higher resolution or anti-aliasing. It is caused by not having a high enough resolution to correctly create the curve.
