Lian-Li PC60 Modified By The Card Cooler

Performance:

The performance of the PC60 is very good and it exceeded my expectations in every way. It is one of the best case designs I have ever seen. Lian-Li makes it very easy for you to access everything in the case. The whole case can be broken down and put back together tool-free in only a few minutes time.

The case temperatures are also very impressive. As you can see from the chart below it stays cool on any of the speed control settings of your intake fans; however, on the medium or lower settings it doesn’t produce as much of the high pitched whine that fans make spinning at full RPM. The case stayed right around room temperature most of the time , which is as cool as you can get with an ambient temperature air cooler.

The modifications performed by The Card Cooler are very well done. There is not a sign of any jagged edges or anything that doesn’t look close to perfect.

Conclusion:

The Lian-Li PC60 is the nicest case I have ever used. It includes many features to help the user and to make things easier for them. The price is expensive. The exact case received from The Card Cooler would cost $287.00 shipped. That does not include a power supply. Not everyone can afford to slap out nearly $300 dollars for a case. After using one; however, I don’t know that I could go back to a normal case. The PC60 spoils you with all of its design features.

The Card Cooler did a very nice job at modifying the case. The blowhole on the top helps keep it cool while the window and cold-cathode light give you the cool factor modders are looking for. The only problem you may have with the modifications is if you are clumsy and happen to spill your coke onto you computer. Kudos to both Lian-Li and The Card Cooler for making this such a great case in not only looks, but performance and ease of use.

If you can afford it, I would definitely look into getting yourself a Lian-Li PC60 from The Card Cooler. You will not regret the purchase.

Pros:
  • Excellent looks
  • Great performance
  • Tool-free design
  • Intake filter and fan speed control switch included
  • Slide out motherboard tray

Cons:
  • No power supply included
  • Expensive
  • Beige drives clash with the brushed aluminum color

Case Score: 8.5/10
Modifications Score: 10/10
Light Kit: 8.5/10
