question about aux port and head phone port

These are both the same size right?
I don't have an aux port in my car - but I have a cable coming out of my amp that i can plug straight into my phone (for music streaming) however I am tired of always plugging it in when I can get a bluetooth adapter for ~$50

I need to know if an auxilio in connecter will be 3.5mm, is...

My wireless was working one night and the next day it wasn't....I have a linksys e1200 wireless-n router and an Acer AspireOne netbook.....

I'm just really confused and don't know what to do at all......any help would be great!!
