Hoo boy! I only installed this game three days ago, and I already have 29 hours of playtime registered according to Steam...

I didn't think this would be as good as Diablo, but it's insanely good! I only play solo, so I don't know how it stacks up as a party, but I've got a hard to kill huntress, with two each of Split Arrow and Rain of Arrows. One set I have linked to cold support, and the other to fire support. Arctic Armor is similarly linked to stun support. So basically, any time I'm mobbed, they get frozen and/or stunned, and I spam rain of arrows on the lot till they're dead.

I'm going to need a guide to that insane passive skill labyrinth, though.

Edit: Solaris Temple -- Guilded shiny nude statues come alive and attack you. Female nudes are complete with camel toes.

    Best. Game. Ever.

Guilded Goddess of Purity killed me just before I finally reached a save point.

    Worst. Game. Ever. :)

I like the gameplay of Diablo considerably more. I just wish D3 had the depth of PoE. I just can't get into PoE though, it's super slow and the talent tree seems complex for the sake of being complex. Also, I really dislike the currency system, I hate needing a wiki just to play a damn game.

The skill tree is really problematic, I agree. I restarted my archer because I took a bad path at the beginning, which left me way to (edit: TOO) vulnerable to dying. You just about have to scout out the skill tree from the very beginning, looking for the right balance of strength (for health, and being able to use equipment and gems with STR minimums) and intelligence (so you can spam the life out of an active gem with two support gems linked, while using elemental armor gem effects, without running out of mana), to go with your dexterity, as well as balancing out your offense skills with defence skills.

Right now, I took down Piety in seven seconds, without having to drink from my life flask, by spamming Blast Rain with cold support and physical damage support gems linked, and letting the leeching and arctic armor deal with keeping me alive for it! Before I nabbed a Blast Rain gem as a quest reward, I depended on Split Arrow and Rain of Arrows, both of which I linked with cold and fire damage support, while my equipment gave me lightning damage, so I could deal damage to anyone. In fact, I got the achievement for simultaneously freezing, burning, and shocking an enemy!

Skill tree is definitely something you should only do while in the safety of town, because it just takes too much time just to find all your skill branches, after a while.

Oh, and I hate how you have to look, and Look, and LOOK for those blasted waypoints.

Also, that tower has too many levels.
