Butchered that buck out today and put 70 pounds of pure meat in the freezer. At first, I thought it was pretty small-ish. But the scales don't lie. I did a neck shot on this one. last years buck was bigger but a through-and-through took out both chucks. That dropped the yield by15 pounds.
Tonight would be a great night to be in Chitown (Cubbies win WS Game 5, their home closer before heading back to Cleveland for the last game or two)
