Test results

The sound was evaluated on the following games and programs:

Unreal (A3D)
Jedi Knight (A3D)
WinAmp
Several MIDIs

Other games and programs


Tested with three different sets of speakers:
Cambridge SoundWorks
Platinum Sound SWX-1600
MLi 270TA

The test results were almost exactly as expected. All games sounded the same as they did on the DCS S805 card. The MIDI was quite a bit better, yet still not as impressive and accurate as the Diamond Monster Sound MX200. Although two speaker A3D is still a very cool thing, I have been too spoiled by four speaker A3D to truly appreciate it.
