Responsibilities included:

  • Producing low polygon characters and creatures for use in real-time settings
  • Level design and troubleshooting ranging from making sure tile sets worked properly to building complete levels
  • UVW unwrapped the majority of my models to help out team texture artists
  • Closely followed concepts of various artists including comic book artist Joe "MAD!" Madureira
  • Used in-house tools to export media into game-specific formats and specifications
  • Technical support consisting of building and maintaining various computer systems

  • Wrote articles analyzing various hardware and software products
  • Participated in technical support group via e-mail
  • Wrote guides on improving software performance for various computer configurations

I'm always looking to learn new skills as well as further my existing skill set in order to be as helpful as possible on a project.

Relevant skills include:

  • Expert knowledge of 3D studio max and character studio, including low polygonal modeling, UVW mapping and custom rigs for animation
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, primarily used for creating game textures
  • Intermediate knowledge of Epic's Unreal Engine, including importing custom content, level building and basic scripting knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of iD's Quake engines
  • Working knowledge of Maya including it's modeling and animation systems
