My Mom was talking the other day about how 60+ women showed up to church in an ice storm wearing high heels. I said to her "And amongst those did you see anyone that you would want to be president of the United States? I didn't think so..."
It's worse once they squirt out a kid or two. I've seen fairly normal women turn into complete lunatics once they gestate and birth a child. Hormones is my guess. I've got two daughters whom I love more than anything, so take what I'm about to say the right way. Other than the last 50 years or so men have dominated women. Throughout all recorded history, and even before that the archeological records show that humankind has lived within a patriarchal social system. Maybe this is for a reason? We seem to have evolved within male dominated social order, I'm just saying that Nancy Pelosi should probably go home and make me a sandwich.
There is a huge (compared to the past) movement to cater to the female persuasion now that there is more of an ability for them to have lots of disposable cash. Notice the TV programing, the adds we see and the marketting behind sales. Is society better off than say 30+ or even 20+ years ago? You tell me.
I'm almost offended by the generalizations in this thread. Almost. It's hard to be though because we are all actually pretty fucking crazy. *shrug*
To be honest, every human being is crazy when viewed from outside their normal group. I look at it like some Africa Natives look at cheese and drinking blood. We in the more "Civilized" nations do not drink animal blood, at least most people don't. We look at it as disgusting, yet we eat cheese which is curdled milk and have no qualms with it. Natives of Africa look at drinking Blood and see no problems with it, but once they understand how cheese is made then they think it's the most disgusting thing they've ever heard of. So, Antigone, you are correct. We're all crazy, just some people are a little more crazy than others.
Woman have feelings, they won't tell us what their feelings are but we must always respects their feelings. Also we have to act a certain way based on their feelings and even if they tell us their feelings we will never know what they are trying to say because "we're really not really listening to them."
Yeah, women are emotional, that's no mystery. I think that (in a relationship) women expect their boyfriend/husband to know how they're feeling at any given time. Kinda like how my girlfriend always knows when I'm upset or bothered. She doesn't ask me what's wrong with me, she asks what happened. It's not the same question and she has the ability to know when my mood changes I see it as a good trait to be honest. But yeah, she's fucking weird sometimes too.
Oh, he'll tell you I'm fucking insane but if I'm pissed or hurt I don't tend to pussyfoot around, I'll just tell you. But I'm a big tomboy and think most girls are melodramatic babies so I'm probably not the best test case. I'm sure you could just ask Dan. I don't tend to hold my tongue much. heh As a whole, I agree that there are a lot of girls out there that act like idiots BUT, I do know that there are girls out there that aren't like that and you need to be dating THEM. Unfortunately, we are the minority and the dumb ones are the majority.
women. cant live with em, cant kill em. seriously though, i bet if we got rid of the social stigma of "women are batshit crazy", they would wisen up and stop using "im crazy" as an excuse to take advantage of people and do whatever they want. dont get me wrong, there are many sane women, as long as they keep taking their meds... but most are just a can of worms. im not even about to continue, i'll be here all day.
I don't get women and never did much with them. Maybe I'm lucky? Probably not. Gonna be 25 soon and still a v....
