These are the things we have to do in order to stop crazy people sometimes... Police can't be everywhere. I'm glad that she did this as it was the right thing, if she hadn't there would have been alot more casulties...
what kind of church, or what kind of neighborhood, is this that they had several security guards on duty when this happened? I mean, I've only been to church a few times in my life, but i don't remember ever having seen a security guard in a church.
I was going to say that a lot of fucking people in the south just pack heat, but i read the fucking story...weird. I have NEVER heard of a security guard at mass, much less an armed one. fucking odd
It is actually outside the city by a couple miles, but the neighborhoods on the north end of the city are middle-middle/upper class neighborhoods and the one outside the city to the northeast of this church is upper class. It's a church with several thousand members at each service, plus it's the one that had Ted Haggard (the Pastor that got caught with the male prostitute), and they got a warning from the shooting up here in Arvada that was linked through a shared mission service.
If it is a "campus" of sorts where you'd have thousands of people at a given time, then it doesn't seem strange that they would have a security guard or guards.
