I am like this sometimes also, I'll take a dump right after a meal. Could have something to do with why I am so skinny maybe. For a while there I was 'trying' to put on some weight, I went mad eating anything and huge meals but yeah... didn't do much for me.

I'm pretty sure it's just your metabolism. I know a guy that's 6'4" and 170lbs (if that) and can eat anything you want. When he's done he'll go shit.

The answer is peristaltic waves. Cliff Notes - you eat, your body says "Holy shit, we have to make room!", the entire length of your GI tract constricts, and you have to drop a deuce.

I have that problem sometimes but I have massive food allergies at the moment. It kinda sucks doesn't it? I'm a big guy though (6'6" 280lbs) and have terrible metabolism. I don't even eat very much. So it can happen to anybody.

I'm the same way. I drop anchor no later than 15 mins after a meal. My doctor said its just cause my metabolism is so fucking fast. I mean really fast. I can eat 5 or 6 full meals a day and not put on a single pound. I've also passed a drug test after getting high about 18 hours before. Its going to suck if I ever end up turning normal...

Didnt you once say you eat two hungry man meals for lunch sometimes? If you weigh 280 pounds and don't eat much you must not expend any energy at all.

why do you people only want to poop once a day or less?

your suppose to poop after every meal or so. to make room for what your packing in their next. i dont see why you would want to eat an entires days worth of food and not poop. i poop like 3 times a day...at least.

Yup, it's all normal Torx. MSP gave a good link to explain the waves.

And as 86mcs said, it's also normal to poop more than once per day.

Unless you find blood or black spots in your poop, and the texture is okay, it's all good.

How often does this happen? Is it after every meal?

If it doesn't happen all the time, when it does, what is it that you are eating?

I just want to say your bowels are stuck in limbo and there is always a constant supply of feces that you never actually wholly shit out. So when you are digesting the incoming food it is pushing on the old food and only a portion of it will actually come out of your ass. :)

Every other mammal shits at least once a day. If you're not going that often there's probably something really backed up in your system. So I'd say everything is normal.

Why do people always go to doctors? :) That "diet or some dumb shit" is exactly why you're shitting as much as you are.

It has everything to do with WHAT you're eating. You mentioned your diet but didn't say what types of foods cause you to crap like that. Fruits will go first. Then veggies. Meat, dairy, and bread take longer to go through your system. If you ate only fruit you would probably crap 3x per day. Also, eating until you're "stuffed" if you do that, will probably cause you to crap more since you're simply packing your system full of food each time. You might be over-eating and just crapping it all out.

I used to, and I only ever ate one. Could have easily eaten two though. Now I don't eat much at all comparatively.

You are right though. I have become 280 lbs because I sit in a cubicle all day doing tech support (which is extremely exhausting) and didn't do any exercise or eat well.

In the last month, I've decided to change myself. I joined a gym and go every other day and do cardio for 30 min (for now) and do a lot of weights.

My metabolism sucks. I usually only poop once every couple of days. If I eat something I'm allergic to, I can poop on command lol.

You only have to worry if you poop WHILE you eat, or poop just before and don't wash your hands. :p

    I have the same problem.
It controls my daily life day to day. Every time I eat, no later than 5 mins sometimes even while I am eating - boom I am in the bathroom. Blood test came back normal. I am in the bathroom at least 4 hours a day and it's taking away my life! I am a healthy 210 and haven't gained weight in the past year, simply lost it. Went from 250 down to 210 in a year, moderate exercise but mostly muscle building.

I can't pin point the cause, so it's pretty much anything I eat. Spaghetti meals hit me the worst - that's about it.

When I get hungry I can eat for a solid 2 hours, switching between munchies and stuff, but nothing happens to my weight cuz it goes down the toilet in a matter of seconds after.

Definitely controlling my life though and I hate it. 28 hours a week in the broom is ridiculous! That's almost two months worth a year.

I'm just the same. I'm 20 years old and only 7.5 stone and would love to weigh another stone. People don't accept it as a problem, because apparently being skinny is desirable. But I sometimes get to the point where if I haven't eaten for a few hours I feel really faint and literally can't function. Yeah, straight after every meal and generally once or twice in the morning. Is it just a fast metabolism? Or is it something deeper?

I would disagree. My diet (im a strange and fussy eater) has prttey much always mainly consisted of only dairy and wheat.....so if they apparently take longer to go through the system then......eh? No overeating.....pretty normal amounts really. Im with Torx
