I'd go with fried onion strips for the crunch, but I guess potato chips'll work too.

It's not usually this hot until the end of July or August. We didn't get a winter last year and the bugs are terrible this season. It seems that all regions are experiencing weird weather
this year. 107-111 degrees F today with a huge red flag warning.

While checking out the high water along the Mississippi, I caught a pic of this guy cooling his feet in the river.

Usually, when I see a Heron, they're plucking crawdads out of the creek in the back yard.

His admission seemed perfectly legitimate to me... As for the one after that... ROFLCOPTERS!

Went on a Sunday Bicycle ride, and look what I found moored at Alton. The largest paddlewheeler ever built. A genuine operating steamboat!
