Should be getting mine out tomorrow. I'm such a procrastinator this year.

I have my gift, and will ship it out tomorrow priority. It's a pretty interesting gift, in my opinion. Hopefully something that my recipient can use for many years to come, that is also absolutely one-of-a-kind.

Ordered mine and its on the way. Who knows whennitll actually get there though, since its got to go through royal mounties and grizzly bears. It'll probably arrive by dog sled hopefully before Christmas, but I wouldn't hold my frigid breath.

I think I'll use it towards a new external HDD for my warez! Thanks dude!!

Provided we don't get full on blizzard like conditions I'll be dropping mine off tomorrow after finally arriving from being back ordered.

I just got my gift mailed out! Had to wait on a buddy of mine to get a portion of the gift. Shipped priority USPS, scheduled delivery date is this Friday. More reasonable estimate in Saturday or Monday. I have delivery confirmation if it goes beyond the estimate.

I have a hard time buying things for people because I would hate to get something they did not want or would not use. On the first T3D SS I gave what I thought was a neat gift but I later found out my recipient hated it. To be fair I don't think he posted anything he was interested in so it was fair game :)

That being said... I think I would be kind of disappointed if I received a gift card to Amazon since this gift exchange is to get something interesting for someone you never met that lives many states away or in some cases a different country. Maybe next year I will put some more thought into this.

I hope my as enjoys his gift. Basically when I pick something out I tty to look for something I think would be cool as dhit to have.

(I was originally going yo send some chocolates and a shot glass I bought in Belgium, then zi found out you can buy the same chocolates in my ss' town, so I changed my mind. But if you have a Leonidas anywhere near, go and buy them. They're pricry but awesome.)

Totally understand. However, amazon is like FAO for grown ups and a gift card just means its guilt free shopping!

Mine is sent, but unfortunately it will arrive a few days after Xmas. UPS didn't want to ship it via air so ground is going to take a little longer

I received a package today and saw that it was addressed from Big Will and was instantly excited. He got me a fancy pen in a very nice display box. I wrote with it for a few seconds and could tell it was a whole heck of a lot smoother than the cheapo pens I normally use. Thanks Will, this is pretty cool.

I didn't have a chance to write you a note to describe the pen. the hardware is all solid stainless steel, and will last forever. It is extremely durable. The wood is Mahle Burl, which is essentially a healed wound on a Mahle tree. The wood winds up with a very sawtoothed look, with fine grain patterns. The ink cartridge in that pen is a German Easyflow cartridge, and is well known for writing very smooth.

The pen was custom built by a very good friend of mine at work. It is absolutely one of a kind, and there is no other exactly like it!

    I hope you enjoy it!
