It's not so much as being not able to as not caring :X. I've had mine sitting on my floor in the box for the past month, I just didn't feel like cattle prodding my way through the post office, and well, before I knew it; it was christmas eve. Believe it or not, but Tweak presents usually aren't at the top of people's to do lists :X. Yeah, I caught your sarcasm. I'm just being a dick.
Yeah, that's not hard. But each year, my list of eligible participants will be purged of more and more late ppl. That way we might convince our cautious members to participate EDIT: and BTW, I'm responsible for the Powercells. I just tought they were cool and 2 AA batteries are in everything! I ask Will about the receiver, but he never replied to my PM
It should be, we lost a few members last year due to deadbeats or people pissed at deadbeats, hopefully the same won't happen this year. We sign up and take responsibility for doing this right, as one person forgetting throws the whole thing for a loop usually. Lots of people have been very fast and faithful with sending their gifts. Better late than never, I suppose. Hopefully we'll have a few late arrivals and no no-shows.
There seems to be lots of late ones this year. I haven't gotten mine either :X Also if it's any consolation, I knew my SS wouldn't be the type to cry if it's a week late.
in my defense, my SS didn't put any interests up until 3 weeks before x-mas, I had my gift sent out within a week and paid extra for shipping in an attempt to get it on time, but it appears it didn't yet. edit- and fuck you guys, I got my gift in February last year and I didn't complain
Whoever sent my gift, (if you've even sent it yet) I won't get it until the 3rd if it was sent to my Portland address.

I don't participate, but I enjoy watching because it clues me in to who's what around here. Late or never = lack of character. For next year perhaps Kain could restrict participation to those who have participated honorably in the past, and new participants would have to lay down some collateral of some kind. I'd actually like to participate but not under the current terms.
Yeah, the dead beat thing is annoying. Even if it is late, thats dead beat to me. The day I read the PM from Kain listing who my recipient was, I looked at what they wanted, ordered it and had it ready to go. Of course I didn't have to drive anywhere, or anything like that, just click a few buttons and I was done. I think for next year, we should have a cut off date, that being a date that should allow for any gifts to reach the person by the 25th. Not only that I will enforce a ban this year and any subsequent years. I don't think a permanent ban is needed, but some time is appropriate. Don't sign up for this shit unless you are serious about it. A lot of good people dont participate because they don't want to be shafted, so don't ruin it for everyone.
yea i got a dead beat last year and never got anything, i liked some of the gifts this year, keep the pictures coming.
MSP.. this was this year's rule... I banned from playing everybody with a dark account. Seems like it's not enough though. Superman: If it was my choice, I'd ban. But Dan decided not to do it and I'm sure his reasons are as good as mine.

Well, as you know Torx, the deadbeats aren't coming back (Eyezik, etc) But Brent... I like you, you're a positive member. But as superman said, it's annoying to know that you're still here knowing that you screwed him. Man, better late than never to send that gift!!
Sorry about that man, i ordered it mid december, whoda thought you can rely on a company run by stoners. i again ordered my gift in early december but havent heard anything from the dude who was supposed to get it.
I got mine shipped off the 10th, it was due to deliver the 18th, no word if it made it or not, i'm assuming it did. I paid for three day shipping and got USPS, to which I raised alot of hell over.
Hey Man, like I said, NO WORRIES! Its Christmas, no one should be mad about anything! All I'm saying is that its a little harsh to jump to conclusions and accuse everyone who's potentially late of being a dead beat.
