I kinda liked omega man, only the setting of the movie really, the movie itself was pretty damn shitty. Thought it was way to drawn out, but the plot and setting was awesome. Point being, they're trying for round two, hopefully will doesn't fuck it up with "WHO'S DA MAN NOW? HUH??!?!??! WHOS DA MAN NOW??? SPACESHIP ALL BANGED UP!!! WHO'S DA MAN NOW" I Am Legend (2007) - Movie Info - Yahoo! Movies
LMAO brent, yea of course their gonna "smith it up", as so they say... you cant have a will smith movie with his crazy remarks.. but his remarks are pretty damn funny and catchy.. im sure its going to be exactly like the original except it could be a white girl instead of a black girl this time.. that interracial mixup on the original caused quite a stir back in the day.. im def looking forward to it though
lol.. I think Torx made a thread on that movie last week. But well, you won't get timelined today, you've got a freebie
R.U.SRS? Omega man WAS a remake, a poor one, of a great book. This is actually a closer representation that actually shares the same name as the book written in 1954. Also this is the 3rd film made after the book, Omega man was the second. Education... But yes, it looks badass. Done by the same director as Constantine with Keanu Reeves. (Which I highly recommend as well)
I've been interested in this movie since I saw the trailer. I don't know what to think of the monsters though, they seem overly CGish at this point. I know the movie industry has made advancements on the CG effects front, but the progress seems slow to me.
Yea they do, as in everyone that I saw in the trailer including the dogs looked CG'd. The trailer already brings up some contradicting points, such as the dogs themselves. They are obviously infected, you can tell by the way that they look and at the very end of the dog clip in the trailer, how they react to the light on the pavement after going past the shadow... Point being, if those dogs are infected, how come his isn't? If dogs are infected, how come other animals aren't? if they virus is cross-species which the trailer shows, then why are there lions and deer in the streets that are un-affected? People might say that they were not exposed to the virus, but the trailer makes it pretty damn obvious that the virus clearly is airborn! You can tell because some of the buildings that are left are covered entirely in bio-hazard containment plastic sheets... Been doing alot of thinking, hopefully the movie is good.
my bet is this movie is going to suck. this movie was supposed to come out like 10 years ago with arnold and it probably would've sucked too. the book is great.
