Nature In, Nature Out.. positive vibes throughout.

It blows my mind reading all of the familiar SNs-- it's like a highschool reunion.

Judging by his avatar he's still a Honda lover. That's okay I'm slowly making my way there myself. So easy to work on, interchangeable parts, no funky German tools, reliable, dirt cheap easy to find parts, good ass gas mileage, can take the whole car apart with a 10, 12, 14, 17, 19 and a screwdriver.. ahh. I have to finish putting a timing belt in my shit today. Bogus ass job. Could have had it done on a Honda in the time it took me to take the core support out of my car.

    Had an Element... :(

...but a young lady on her cellphone decided to skip out on standard redlight procedure. 80km/h Golf + 15km/h Element + 270 degree spin + 18-wheeler = (panels were removed by wreckers)

So now I've gots me one of these to keep up with my 6,000km/month routine. I'm filthy rich in gas money savings. Slow is the new fast.

    ..+ CB750SC (Canadian spec), CB400 and some Yamaha do-hicky.

Yeah, I guess I'm still into Hondas.

The Element is my dream car. I remember the thread where you had your wisdom teeth removed and posted some pics from the inside of the car and that's about the time it started catching my eye. I've heard they have pretty good gas mileage, better than a VW Beetle at least. It just looks like such a great car to load a couple of dogs into and take a ride to the park/beach/lake/anywhere.

Mileage sucked balls, obviously due to the brick-inspired aeros. There was a clear pocket of pressure behind the car- in the winter the entire rear end would be covered with snow, where as the rest of the car is spotless (same goes for dirt/dust for the other seasons).

With my awd 4speed auto (newer models are 5), I would average about 10L/100km (23MPG) highway and 12L/100km (19MPG) city.

Thanks for the welcome, guys. And letting me Elemental this thread.

Can't believe it was somewhere around 1999 when I first joined this place... Some of my old articles are still archived here from 2000.

  23. I joined in summer 00 or 01. Asked if it was possible to overclock my HP AMD K6-2. I was told it was impossible. Now that I think back, I bet there was an FSB jumper on that mobo somewhere. I'm pissed now. You fuckers owe me a decade's old overclock.

I didn't really start posting until I got rid of dial up like 5-6 years ago.
