I didn't even know about this game til yesterday, but it looks cool. The last game I was excited about was Titanfall, which was cool and popular for a while, but had no staying power. *Titanfall thread is farther down still on the first page of this forum.
My problem with games now days is that there is a minimal, at best, single player element to most. Planet Explorers is thus far, geared towards single play but that will change after it enters beta. Ark: Survival Evolved is mainly a multiplayer/online game. The single player aspect is crap. I'll be checking No Mans Sky out. I put it on my wish list at Steam.
It basically IS a single player game but as plant's and organisms get named, you will know you are in a mp world. Chances of running into another player are slim but it can happen and even how may times if players migrate towards the same area.
http://www.gamezone.com/news/no-man...-patented-superformula-to-create-game-3441600 o0. Sounds like a personal problem to me. Hope it doesn't dak the release date.
Some leaked versions are around, but who knows. http://kotaku.com/no-mans-sky-fans-have-meltdown-over-leaked-copies-1784649146 Like the author says, real reviews will be helpful. Also liked the article's "Seven Stages of Grief." (Re videogame release hype)
PC version pushed to the 12th. If anyone gives a rat's ass, the console version is still due the 9th.
I'm going to wait on getting it. There seems to be a lot (45%) of reviews claiming bad, bad bugs still in the game. Sounds like they released a late alpha version because of pressure from all the delays. It happens.
Sounds like the Ps4 version is okay, but the PC port is pretty buggy. I think this game will get better, but currently it's too expensive and it's a little too shallow. Too much technology, not enough game is what I've been hearing.
