Hi. I'm Michael, 21 years old. I'm the other brown guy on T3D. Been here since Dec. 2000 iirc. Getting a B.S.E. in Computer Science from University of Michigan. I like watching movies, electronics, and working out with my roommate. We have a cat, which we just found out was a girl after thinking it was a guy for about 5 months.

I'm Tom. I have pretty bad social anxiety, so I tend to say more than I should via the internet since I have a hard time releasing it elsewhere. I work at a Kinko's and have no idea what I want to do with my life. I don't generally have any serious interests outside of video games, but most of my friends are musicians/artists/bookworms, so I tend to absorb a lot of that into my personality. I guess I'm kind of like a social chameleon, I never stand out, but I always blend in.

Oh, and I love Mexican food. It is delicious.

Oh, shit. I hadn't been on all day and a cool thread like this pops up and fills up fast!

Anyway, I'm Matt. I'm 24, and still in college. I'm in the audio engineer, both in school and at home. I've been in the program about two years now, and have been practicing the trade at home as a hobby/side job. I've recorded a good handful of local (Memphis, TN) bands. For a job, I work on campus as a computer lab monitor. It's not really a job, but it gives me cash to play with. I plan on doing the same next semester, as well as record live performance in one of the music halls (if all goes to plan).

And if you couldn't tell by my signature (and picture), I'm obviously a fan of metal. Music is pretty much my life. Even if I'm not the best at playing, I strive to get musicians the best sounding tracks possible. I love a great sound, and that's what I want to capture.

    Hiyas

My names Ian, but everyone calls me sims in real life. I’m 24 and I have a Business Admin Degree and work as an investment advisor. I'm bilingual in French and English, though my French is slipping as I rarely use it anymore.

I'm kinda strange, I'm 1/3 "seriuos business" investment banker dude and 2/3 dirty pothead hippy, don't ask me how that works, it just does somehow.

I’m obsessed with learning, I can’t get enough of it, I want to know everything about everything, which is probably why I waste way to much time reading random crap on teh internets.

My hobbies include hibernating in winter because I hate the cold, Playing bass, music, working on and playing with my car and truck, injuring myself trying to work on my car, doing my endless list of house improvements, anything to do with car’s that is not nascar, offroading, Talking about how great Canada is, taking my truck deep into the bush/forest with my friends and going on random camping adventures, I <3 the beach in summer, Sexy time, laying in the grass staring at the stars on a nice summer night, being warm, Talking like Borat(still) Watching Movies, playing video games, playing soccer, the occasional glass of rye and ummm, getting high as fuck?

I think Marijuana is the greatest thing on the planet, it makes everything better in everyway possible and the world would be a much much better place, with less war, hate, crime and racism, tastier food, hilarious inventions and likely very high unemployment if we would all just get high and get along.

So I'm back to, not upsetting anybody just in case:)

or is it I treat everyone with the same contempt:D

ugh, I wasn't going to do this but now I'm bored, so I guess..

My name's Greg. I'm 22, I work at a shop as a "mechanic". I put this in quotes because I don't have any mechanic's certifications(ASE's), nor do I have a valid driver's license in this state. But I can fix cars and my boss likes that, so I have a job. By this state I mean Wisconsin, where I have a residence in Milwaukee. I'm here about 4, sometimes 5 days of the week; while the other 2 are spent at my other residence in Chicago. Right now I'm in a time crunch to finish my community service, otherwise I go back to the hotel for violation of discharge. I did alot of stupid things when I was younger, like getting popped going 131 in a 55, but now I spend most of my time trying to get that taken care of, and look at what I want to do in the future.

Therefore I'm starting school in spring because I have come to the conclusion that working on cars is a great hobby, but a shitty job. I'm going to start with networking, and take 1 step at a time to see what I can do with that. But, other than working on cars(I like making them fast more than fixing them), I like to play around with the computer, hang out, drink, and well that's pretty much it. When I get the chance, I like to 'urban explore' but that has since died down decently because of my legal troubles. Abandoned buildings are interesting, same with new construction. I've posted pictures before of places I've checked out, if anybody remembers. Last weekend we stayed at a 39 story hotel for my friend's girl's birthday, so I found my way to the roof of that to enjoy my version of the VIP lounge.

I've been here since 2001 and it's funny to see how everybody has went from a high school kid to an adult. This was a pretty interesting thread.

And kip59, ever since I read yours; everything I read from you is in a British accent inside of my head.

A Brit accent in a woman's voice, is an aphrodesiac to this old fart. In a pinch, an Ausie accent does the same thing :unibrow:
