Well I just got fired for sleeping on the job. To be honest I accept the punishment because I shouldn't have fallen asleep but it just sucks. I had fallen asleep before but didn't get fired because my boss liked me. The first time I got caught by a coworker who took a picture of me sleeping. Well guess who caught me the second time now 2 years later? Yep the same cunt and she again took a picture. It's my fault though for sleeping in the first place and getting caught.

Time to find another job, it shouldn't be too hard but I kind of like the job and it has been my longest held job so far.

If you are curious I worked for a company that supported developmentally disabled people in their homes. It was an alright job, pretty easy, and I liked working with the clients.

Now I can goto bigger and better things, just have to keep looking on the bright side.

Considering that type of work, I bet 80% of the employees sleep on the job (at least occasionally). There's nothing else to do for several hours of the night shift when everyone else is asleep.

    That sucks, but:
    1) That chick that took a picture is lame
    2) You'll probably like your next job better
    3) This just opens your schedule to find a job you're better suited for. IMO, you're too talented to be sitting there doing what you did before.

What a bitch. Sleeping or not it was not her place to be meddling in your business. Where did you work?

The company is called SL Start. I worked nights, and Dan has actually been to my job, he slept most of the night, or played wow on my laptop. But he is right, it was really a waste of my potential.

Every workplace has them...you know, the ones who'll do anything to make other people look bad, therefore elevating themselves. Go out and get that killer job like MSP did.

    what a bitch.

No joke, sugar in the gas tank. Its a harsh, harsh punishment but snitching on someone causing them to loose their job over something harmless like falling asleep momentarily warrants such things.

This will end up being for the best. If you were able to play video games and sleep you certainly weren't being challenged or gratified by your job. Being able to do stuff like that at works sounds great, and a lot of people will say "Wow! Best job ever..." But I've found that when I've been able to blur the lines between home and work too much it wasn't much fun in the end. A challenging job you can enjoy and fun stuff to do at home together make for a well balanced life.

Hahahaha...you get caught sleeping on the job, twice, and get fired for it?!

That's really sad considering there are lots of people out there that are complete dicks (or bitches) when it comes to their job, and they're downright rude, snotty, you name it, and they continue to work at that same job.

    Life isn't fair.

However, if you were falling asleep, then it was obviously time for a change of scenery. I like a job that keeps me on my toes.
