I've never really been too free spirited. I've always been fairly conservative. I guess I take after my dad, who really didn't do much either. However, I'm trying to breakaway a little bit from that by doing more spontaneous things with my kids (as much as you can with a 5 year-old or under).

I at least want to do one big trip every year with my kids. Whether that's go to West Edmonton Mall like I did this year and spent way too much money, or going to Toronto next year and doing the Marineland thing, and then maybe...if the world is still around in 2013, go to Disney or something similar with my kids.

Everything is focused around them and I've just been that way for a lot of my life.

Me time is playing games on my computer after the rugrats have gone to bed.

My me time is inviting friends over on sunday and drinking a 12 pack and bbq'ing a couple of steaks. Other than that I do what I can to make my kids happy. Which usually means watching Nick Jr. on my badass 70" flat screen tv lol

I'll go to my friend's house and unwind with some drinking once in awhile. Or after soccer, go get some wings and drinks!

I'm glad you clarified your position because, dude, your original post came across as way holier than thou. I'm sure there's a regional difference in the attitude towards traveling and work too, I know there is here just between states in this country. I've found that many employers in my fine state not only encourage their employees to take time off and go travel but actually look upon it positively when a candidate has taken some time to travel the world and see stuff. It makes you stand out and gives you a different perspective on many things that those who've been cubical drones for those years have not had.

But I'm right there with you, I work to live not visa versa. At least not yet, hoping someday to have or create a job that I love doing. :)

LOL, is Tebow really getting noted across the pond? I think it's ridiculous that Denver has gotten on the front of ESPN for the second week in a row considering they love to ignore the state's sports. But yes, I am thrilled we won again. Although I didn't get a chance to watch the game since the TVs at work are on CNN and Fox News and can't be changed. So instead i get to watch specials on how Indians without property rights are poorer than other tribes that do have property rights. (Duh, not placing value on possession means you're going to have less material wealth.)

fiddy is doing the right thing, i just fear.. if he ever comes back to america, finding a job could be hard. im sure hes got a strong family support.
hes single, has no interest in making babies and having multiple girlfriends, hes free. its something that THE SYSTEM and THE MAN doesnt want us to experience.

i still think fiddy is a drug lord.
how the fuck can someone live without a job and be able to afford traveling like this... im gonna rob his ass.

Is it just me, or does 950 look a little bit like the Highlander? That explains everything!
