fuck this shit. I think I might start getting flu shots after this. I've had a flu for 3 days. Just laying in the same place with a 103 fever and not moving or eating for the past 48 hours. The dreams are the worst part. 1/10 wouldn't buy again.
Sucks dude. Everyone should definitely get the flu shot even if it's not 100% effective as they're guessing at strains its still better than being unprotected. Plus it's free with most insurance and <$20 without.
Get them every year due to my wife running a dayhome. I don't know...I don't get nearly as sick as I used to, that's for sure. And it's free....so might as well go for it if it means I don't miss any work.
I never get flu shots, and I can't remember the last time I ever got the flu. Something about putting the virus in my body doesn't strike me as particularly appealing. Maybe if I got the flu at least once a year I'd feel different. Now I probably jinxed myself. Glad you're feeling a little better though. I'd have been in the ER personally if I had a 103 fever though.
