Ikariam - The free browser game

For those of you that have free time throughout the day or whatever, this is a pretty sweet little browser RTS. It's really slow paced, so it's not exactly a cure for boredom, but it gives you something to check throughout the day and manage. I more or less just started, but it's pretty cool thusfar.

oh my god it takes forever to build anything and you cant build anything while something else is being built. ahhhhh

This looks very similar to Ogame.org which I've been playing for maybe 6 months... 2 minutes a day thereabouts. All I do is build defences. Essentially whoever dedicates the most time to it wins. Still, it's pretty fun until someone bigger and stronger attacks the hell out of you.

Yeah, everyone else on another forum I goto was playing O-Game (they call this I-Game now). But this seems a bit friendlier than O-Game so far.

I'd love to, but I have no idea how. I think that if we're going to be able to find each other, we'll have to give the coordinates of our islands.

I'm at 74 61 on Lithios. I'm pretty sure you can figure out which town I settled.

Awaios is at 32-36. I just built a barracks, academy and port and have no more wood. I need a viagra plant or something.

Edit: I think we have to research treaties before we can allie.

I'd love to ally as well, I'm at Rynios 53:71. I'll just send you guys messages.

Treaties are like an 8th level sea faring technology. That is gonna take a looooong time to acheive.

Im just upgrading my town hall to lvl 5. About to get spies and check out my neighbors.
If anyone needs a colony on an island with glass, mine only has 3 towns.

Ive got a level 3 rax. Any idea why I can't build swordsman yet?

I've been playing travian on the us speed server. It's about 1/2 over already, so if you feel like joining me you will be pretty far behind. If you guys want to get a group started next round we can organize that.

I just started on epsilon. I'm at 30:56. The island is Clicuios (nation might be polius) I think. I'm just trying to figure it all out.

Edit: town is now Blitzkrieg. Took forever to get through all the basic crap

Edit2: My export is sulfur but I won't be able to trade till the research is done.

I have sulfur for trade at Superia, island 53:71 (Rynios) for wine, glass, or marble.

I figured it out. I had to research professional army. Time to start building the army and letting the fear flow. Hmmm, now how to train terrorists?

ANyone need sulfur? I just got my dock and a cargo ship built. I don't have much sulfur but gotta start somewhere.
