I don't think so. I think he worked for John Edwards during his campaign for President and was a political adviser to Rahm Emanuel when he was a State Representative.
Everyone is totally misunderstanding what I am trying to say. I never said corporations are "evil" or that they are all bad. I'm talking about systems here. Let me refresh people on what a corporation actually is: By definition a corporation is not the people who work for it, or the values of those people. The corporation is by definition a seperate entity setup for the single goal of profit. That is not a personal value judgment of "good" or "evil" that is a statement of fact.
Here's a video of an interview with guy that is pushing for this boycott. Breaking News | Latest News | Current News - FOXNews.com After watching the video do you all think the CEO is still an idiot? He still seems like an intelligent man and a good guy for a CEO.
Did he not unnecessarily interject himself and his business into a huge political issue, with negative consequences for his business? Seems that way to me.
The WSJ asked him to write the article. He didn't write the essay and just send it in. It also may not be negative for his business if people start shopping there because of his views and, how he treats his employees.
Wow, another ugly thread. All I really have to say is fox news flying the FAIR AND BALANCED logo next to their logo while a show host and featured guest trying to talk over one another is kinda funny I don't think any news network should be flying a logo that says "Fair and balanced", it's just silly. But I think fox flying that amongst the general 'shout your points' theme of the channel is sillier As far as health care goes, I really wish Obama would just take a hard stance already. We know something has to change with health care, it's just time to set this all into motion. Till then, I've got 3 months and I'm back on work insurance. Hooray :-\ At the very, very least this whole employer based insurance set up needs to go. Everyone always balks about how great their plan is and if health care is socialized how they will lose it (which isn't true either), but if they lose their job they'll lose it all anyways?
I just got a huge whiff of patchouli. I think that the reason I'm against socialized health care is because it's not cutthroat capitalist like i love. Edit: Guns at townhall meetings? My goodness!
