I can't believe it's been almost 17 years since a first joined the tweak3d message boards. I don't remember how I found the boards, but somehow I did. I joined September 26, 2001 (estimated) as MichaelSG. A was just a freshman in high school then who liked to work with computers. Since joining tweak3d I built my first, and several other custom-built PCs, learned troubleshooting techniques, and even entered into my career in IT. I am now a Desktop Support Tech for a transportation company, married, and have a daughter. I want to thank Dan Kennedy and the Tweak3d community for being super cool. I have had many years of learning, belonging to a nice community, and just having fun throughout the years. Here are just a few of the notable memories I have from Tweak3d: Two girls on a bus Scrubbin ( I think) rap battle Teaching us all how to mobo The Timeline of History Mistawiskas posting neat stuff like dynamos The .org revolution Secret Santas The Racing chair and other member projects posted here and much more
Aw - thanks! After all these years it means a lot for me to see things like this. I had no idea what I was doing when I started this site and never expected the ups and downs that it would bring over the first few years. The internet is ubiquitous now and everyone has had their online adventures, but I’m glad we all started this way back when old school was new, and somehow kept it alive.
Yeah i know a few of the things mentioned were on it. Didn't have a copy of it on hand but that thing was always a tweak3d staple.
Gee Wiz, the time goes by so freaking fast. There have been uncountable memories from this place. I remember all the really young people that now are way into adulthood. We've seen "all your base"/ 911, batboy, Caturday and much more history here. Thanks for all you've done Dan.
This place is still my home page for Chrome on my home desktop computer. I get on it about once per week and most of the time instantly go to the site I intent on visiting as soon as the browser comes up. I can't seem to get myself to change my default home page to anything else.
