It's been a while since I've been around here, been keeping busy. Works been great, I'm slowing working my way into buying the company I work for as my boss prepares for retirement, in the meantime I've helped build it up over the past few years, this year alone were up 30% in volume. I Also picked up a few rental properties on the cheap, fixed up 2 units and working on the last now, Almost done paying them off to, a few more months to go. I got married about a year and a half ago, that's been fun, were not killing each other yet. This summer I decided to take on the biggest project yet, adding onto my house. It's all sealed up now, first floor is roughed out, and we just poured the basement floor last Saturday, now I'm working on the rough-out. Basement is going to be a 600sq ft mancave with full bathroom. The upstairs is going to enlarge the kitchen, add a dining room and enlarge a bathroom and bedroom. I did everything myself except the block work. Also re-roofed the whole house in the process. Anyways, I just thought i'd stop in and say whatsup.
We're putting something very similar to this http://www.shawpropertysolutions.co...t-sheetvinyl/lvp - market square 05292013.pdf in all of the common areas of our apartments when the carpet needs to be replaced. It's durable and looks great.
Just this: I've only been able to put 25 miles on it since buying it saturday. I just now walked in after taking it for a mud and 4x4 trip to the top of the mountain. The TrailGear Xfer case mod is so short geared, I can climb trees in 4 low. I'm looking into getting a Calmini C3 bumper and winch to recover from any mishaps in the future. I haven't had much time for much of anything besides renovating apartments. I have 5 going all at once right now.
Nice work! I remember the thread you posted when you first bought that house. Holy shit Wiskas has a Sammy? WTF? With a Trail Gear 4:1 even? *mind blown*
And....it's fun as hell. I got tired of working solely on homes and needed to renew an old hobby. The last toy I had was a built 71 courier slammed to the ground back in 1991. I need a new money pit. I opted for this rather than a street bike.
