I can relate with 0:00 to 3:00 I was also a youth pastor. He has his points but then goes off on his own agenda. He repeatedly quotes the old testament when addressing Christians. Any Christian is taught that the reason Jesus died on the cross was because the requirements of the old testament were not realistic by humans after the initial sin. Then he talks to the Jews... Who the fuck are you talking to? The guy is no beter than any preacher on the pulpit speaking garbage to bring in the till.. I'm sorry. I made it to 35:39 before I turned it off... and while I have a god I believe in, and having been through the ranks of a Christian Church, and knowing science, this guy is just a sensationalist out to make a buck.
Which is why it's nearly impossible to believe in much more than your own experience. The largest portion of religion seems to be one scam after another. I'm amazed when i see normally sane, logical minded individuals become possessed by obvious scams. There seems to be a point where the brain looses it's ability to think with reason and manipulative suggestion takes over.
Yes, some people are out to make a buck but some aren't I watched the all of the videos which would be hard for anyone to do. You still have 4 more speeches to watch btw. All to easy to deceive.

He truly believed the bible was the word of God but slowly started realizing inconsistencies withing the gospels. He also studied the history of the bible and saw how different versions of the bible have so many inconsistencies (stuff left out, added, altered, etc).
