"No Telling How Long This Will Last"

Not very long considering HD-DVD is DEAD lol

If they offered this on Blu-Ray I'd be all over it

All I see is a black hole, and sooner or later they’re going to suck each one of us into it. But when they come for me, I'm going to take as many of them with me as I can.

Yeah, but folks still have the players. My buddy might be interested, I'll ask him.

He bought HD-DVD because that was the format that the HD re-do of the original Star Trek was released on.

They're clearing out the inventory. If you've got a player, this is still a great deal. The Blu-Ray version is three times as expensive and looks the same. If you want an HD version of Planet Earth, this is even cheaper than the regular DVDs. I don't own an HD-DVD player, but if I did, I would definitely buy this.

Actually, as scarcity starts to set in the HD-DVD media might actually rise in price. My buddy for example has vowed to keep buying it as long as it's available, and only switch to Blu Ray when he can't buy what he wants. So who knows?

True. Why wouldn't he? I mean, if the prices are fair and the movies are out there, he may as well stock up on the discs for now. A format's obsolete when something better comes along. Blu-Ray isn't particularly better than HD-DVD except that you won't be able to buy HD-DVD players or new movies soon. Existing movies are just as good as Blu-Rays.

Even Blu-Ray won't be around forever.

Did this deal expire? It is showing the normal price.
On EDIT: Okay, so you pretty much have to click checkout before you see the discount. Thanks Dan, if I could learn how to read I would have noticed that earlier.
