| Curmudgeon | I don't know, maybe somebody here wants to build a simple Ubuntu box or something. This stuff served my purposes up to maybe 7 or 8 months ago. Anyways here's what I got (for tweakers with 100+ posts at least): Athlon XP 2000+ Thermaltake Volcano 7+. And only the mounting bracket that works with the style motherboard on here. MSI GeForce 4 Ti4200 (128meg) Sound Blaster Live 5.1 3com 10/100 Managed NIC Asus A7V333 Mobo And I realize it's not a HOT DEAL, but I had to choose an icon Last edited by smirnoff; 06-14-2008 at 09:21 AM.. |

| Curmudgeon | I did a conservative estimate at 13.00inch x 13.00inch x 3.00inch weighing 1.5kg and it'll be priced around $20-$25. Seems like a lot. Not sure if that's a deal breaker. Without the Heatsink/fan it looks like it would be considerably cheaper: 13.00inch x 10.00inch x 2.50inch weighing 1.0kg for around $10-$15. Canada Post - U.S. Parcel Rate Calculation - Residential (it'll be sent from postal code R3C 0K0) I'm guessing on the weights. |

| Curmudgeon | The website estimates $20.66. But I would allow for up to 25 bucks, to be safe. Not sure how much difficulty you'd have finding ram for this mobo. Idk, maybe things haven't changed that much. |
