Mince your specs make me laugh, there are video cards out now with more memory and faster bus speeds than your computer. I bet there are calculators with higher specs.

I must say though, I've had this computer for a loooooooooonnnnng time and it's still kicking strong. A truely unregretable purchase.

bingo, if you don't need the power, you don't need it. if I didn't game, I wouldn't care really what computer I had. you can browse the internet on just about anything. Even the system I have now is fine for the games I play. Sure I wish it was a tad faster but not worth spending the money to upgrade it instead of eating lol.

I never need it, but Im always updating my computer. I buy like 2 upgrades a year. Generally 1-2 years per mobo and cpu. Then I give my gf my old stuff.

Her computer is a 4200x2, 2 gig ddr2, x1900xtx. The most intense thing she does on it, is open word. But if I want to dual log on a game I always can

Until two years ago my dad had a P1 86MHZ with a 500mb HDD. Then right before I went to boot camp it died and I set him up with a new one.

You should see some of the "old" computer parts I have laying around in my closet. I have an extra 7600 gts pcie I might throw to the winner of this for the new motherboard.

Who ever gets this comp, I have an 7600gts I will throw in for you for free (-shipping) and I have 2gig of OCZ 5-5-5-12 DDR2 800mhz That I would sell cheap. Maybe like 30 bones or something.

That pretty much is an entire comp build.

Tweak, let me know who you decide to give this to and I will send the video card if they want it.

i think it's a good idea. maybe just a post with everybody's "old" computer stuff and we can give it away to tweak3d members for free or cheap.

Just an update guys.. I sent this stuff for Mince because I thought he needed it the most. Even though he didn't say "give it to me!" or anything, I knew he wouldn't mind getting an upgraded PC

I also sent out a PCI-E Radeon x850 and some RAM (just a small amount, it's all I had.. 512 MB). If anyone's got a HDD or PSU they could give him, or some extra DDR2 memory, he'd have a whole computer.
