Bjarne Stroustrup's "The C++ Programming Language" 2nd edition

Mighty generous of your. Lemme know if you come across any novice C#, VB, or OO programming stuff you don't want, and I'll put it to good use (again). Of course, all this stuff is available online but sometimes it's nice to have the physical book.

"The C++ Language" was written by the guy that made C++, so it's probably a really good reference book. I remember it was recommended many times during my CS years...
