This is a complete system, capable of playing Oblivion (medium settings), CS Source (high settings, 80fps), Day of Defeat (highest settings), FEAR (medium settings). It runs incredible! It will be reformatted with a legal copy of Windows XP Pro. The BIOS on this mobo includes a tab that is dedicated to overclocking. This system has been minimally overclocked (only the ram, just bus speeds synced) with slightly higher voltages. Nothing more.

This is being sold by a good friend of mine, and I have seen the computer. I'll vouch for it. He is asking $650 OBO. Just PM me any offers, and I'll throw them his way. He is honest, and I'll make sure the sale goes well. Here are some pics.

Let me know what you guys think.... I'd be more than happy to help anyone out. He's just in need of money, and willing to give a good deal on a great system. He is not willing to part it out, but will make a kick ass deal on the complete system. Thanks for looking, guys!

But, it's a complete system! I mean, he has spent a ton of cash on this system... It's gotta be worth something... Just give him a reasonable offer!

The problem is that Ali is right. Selling it 650$ to tech savy people is almost impossible.

If you try other classified adds, I'm sure you'll be more successful.

But yes maybe someone will make a good offer!!

$650 is just what he wanted, I know he'd take less.... I just thought I'd humor him and post it for that to begin with. What do you think a computer like that will should sell for (a fair price?)?

Well.. maybe 350$ for the system only. Then the keyboard/mouse it depends on their condition.

Try to find their retail price if you can still find them and cut it in half.

If he was in Canada I might give him 25$ for the cans. They look comfy.

I know someone who might be interested in this system, if that mobo supports a Core 2.

Man Newegg is getting hammered.

I make myself laugh.

Is that mobo a V1 or a V2, if its a V2 I'll tell my buddy.

To give you an idea of the value of the system
AnandTech: November 2007 Budget Buyers' Guide
$677 gets you this

Gigabyte GA-73UM-S2H

Hanns-G HW-191DPB Black 19" 5ms Widescreen DVI

I hope he enjoyed it while he used it because he's never going to get any real money out of it. Pentium D? Nvidia 7600? 80GB hard drive? No screen? Honestly, for $650 I could buy an entry level Dell with a 19" widescreen LCD and slap in an Nvidia 8800GT card, and it would kick the living shit out of what he's selling.

i wish i could tell you different will, but he's never going to be happy with what he gets for it

its a good computer, just not worth money to anyone

the reason people buy from dell / etc is for the warranty and cheap up to date stuff. average people could care less if its got 4gb of ram or 1, if it has a nvidia or ati. they want a big hdd and a computer that just works ( and is quiet ). just mothball it or use it as a network server in a closet somewhere

It's still good for gaming! My daughter is still using my P4 w/ 1GB DDR and an Nvidia 6800 Ultra. But it I tried to sell that to someone I could expect less than $100 for it. He'll need to find a sucker or sell it for dramatically less.

ya it does suck how fast it loses value. Hell, I'm still using an "old" P4 3.0ghz machine. I recently upgraded from 1GB to 2GB of RAM and upgraded from a geforce FX5500 to a geforce 7800. and i can still play every game out there no problem. But I also only play at 1024x768 and don't go any higher.

Main PC: AMD Sempron 3100+, Geforce FX5500 128MB, 1GB RAM, Sony SDM-S81 18inch LCD Monitor, Ubuntu 8.04
