I didn't even know there were NES emulators for linux. Are there PSOne emulators too?

There's emulators for all the older console I think.
Regarding NES, I don't really play on that much, more of a Mame, Genesis, Amiga guy myself.

well, there's fceultra, xmess, fakeness, and at least one more major one for NES

for PSone, epsxe is the clear winner

This is relatively new but it works great! http://gfceu.thepiratecove.org/index.php It's FCEU with a frontend for Gnome, and there are plans for this frontend to support other emus as well. Keep an eye on this one!
