Pshh, this is a wish list! Aim a little higher!

The game was demonstrated with the code using all eight cores and four Geforce 8800 Ultra graphics cards.

I usually have my tech purchases planned out in phases - immediate, 6 months, 12 months etc. Here are my plans:

Immediate:

OSX Leopard
Applecare for my Macbook
Speck clear case for my Macbook
Oblivion GOTY Edition - since I'm using a pirated copy at the moment, and would like the two expansion packs.

6 months:

None

12 months:

Mac Mini or Macbook for the wife (perhaps give her mine and get myself a Macbook Pro).

Honestly, that's about all I'm planning. I removed Windows Vista Home Premium from my list entirely, and have no intention of upgrading any of my Windows boxes.

I should have added "...anytime soon." I will eventually upgrade my optical drive and video card, but just not in the next 12 months.

You know, after i got all the drivers issues rectified, Vista works better than XP by a longshot...seriously. It's not so much the OS as it is the hardware vendors using a new OS to market new models of their wares...Hp and Creative especially come to mind. Shit! I had to give up my beloved SB Live, in favor of a POS Audigy, because I was damned if I was going to give creative the satisfaction of selling me Xfinity. I'm currantly looking for any reasonable alternative to Creative hardware.
