| | Wireless Connection Problems | permalink #1 |
| Senior Member | I am using the wireless available in my apartment building as my main web connection. I have a repeater setup to boost the signal and I'm pretty sure I have it in a prime location. My problem is that a lot of the time when I am connected and have an IP address, I cannot connect to anything. Even trying to ping the DNS server I'm assigned does not work. I can however ping the wireless router I'm connected to. Sometimes by pinging the router, I'm suddenly able to load websites and such. Any ideas whats going on? | |
