| Globe Trekker | As of right now I'm using 128bit WEP on both of my APs, but the more I read the more I realize that my pants are basically down around my Wi-Fi ankles. I have one device that only supports WEP which is why I chose it, but I rarely use that device these days and would rather replace it. So what do you use? |

| Raptor Jesus | 128-bit WEP as well. My connection is the only secured one in my apt complex.. i can pick up 7-8 "excellent" signals. |

| Globe Trekker | I just voted WPA as I've updated my firmware and went to DEFCON 4. My D-Link AP is being a little fussy right now so I just turned it off. I think it's the heat (as it's located in my garage). I almost never use it anyway... |

| Tweak Minion | WPA2, even though I live in the ghetto and I'm pretty sure no one has a computer and no would would ever stop in a car with a laptop at risk of getting killed for it. |

| Gold standard! | At the house we didn't encrypt the network, nobody for several acres on either side so it was rather pointless. Opted to go with a cheap switch at the apartment rather than put in a wireless router. |

![]() Say goodbye to our beloved planet. Because there is alot more money to be made in emitting greenhouse gasses, than curtailing emissions. Get out of the box, then recycle it. | |

| Cheap Bastard | WPA-PSK/TKIP w/ MAC address filtering, secure HTTP administration (over wired Ethernet), and no remote administtration. Does it work? Who knows? |

| Vagabond | WPA with MAC address filtering, I live in a cul-de-sac with two other wireless connections that are both unsecured so I am not too worried. |
