| Member | At work, we all have outlook 2003, MS Exchange. One person can open her calendar just fine. But when she opens other users calendars that are shared, Outlook locks up. Its only her on other users calendars, others share calendars and have no probelms. After various things, COMPLETELY removed Office and reinstalled and ran all updates. Same bugaboo.... Any ideas? thanx in advance |

| Lord Of Porn | try these steps, in the following order: rename the FRMCACHE.DAT file in: C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\FORMS to FRMCACHE.BAK you can delete it and it will get recreated once outlook launches but might as well rename it just incase if that doesnt work, go to this folder: C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook move all the files out of their into another folder except for ant *.PST files OAB, TMP, OST files are the ones that need to be moved. we are mostly wanting to get rid of the offline cache file (OST). if you dont see an OST file, then they are not in cached mode. this is fine and renders this step useless. if that doesnt work, make a new outlook profile Start > Settings > control panel> mail> show profiles > add if that doesnt work, try dumping the outlook reg keys and launch outlook. even if you reinstalled outlook, this can fix things that doesnt. Delete this folder: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mircosoft\Office\11.0\O ulook and this: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Mircosoft\Office\11.0\ Oulook dont delete any other folder, it will fuck office and you will have to reinstall office again when you launch outlook after deleting this stuff, it will recreate them. if that doesnt work: create a new windows profile on that machine if that doesnt work: reformat time |

| Member | woot Ali for teh win - renamed the OST, BINGO!!! I suppose it was the easiest thing to do. But for some reason the idiots at work save thier 1000's of emails. So recreating the OST take for-fuckin-ever... tanx again Ali |
