| Member | but i cant, cause my soundcard (audigy 2) only has inputs for speakers (6.1 / 3 jacks) My speakers have an input for headphones, but i cant utilize it because the headset i have splits the microphone and headphone plug wires about 6 inches from the end of the entire headset wire. I was thinking of just plugging the headphone part into the 3rd speaker jack (which im not using) to get sound in my headphones. My only concern is that if i enable 6.1 audio, it might screw up the surround effect with my 4.1 system. Does anyone know exactly which channels the 3rd surround jack on an audidy correspond to?? Thx in advance |

| Senior Member | Just get an extension lead for the mic input and run that to the back of your computer. |
