Using Alternate DNS Servers?

Ive read around about people using other dns servers other than provided by say... COMCAST fucking bastard fuck face fuck fuck shit assholes...

is there any good fast recommended dns addresses i can use?

Uhh, check out some on http://www.broadbandreports.com in their forums. There are verizons, 4.4.4.2 4.4.4.3 4.4.4.4 i think those are some.

I use 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 if I need it.

whats weird is that i can download a file off the internet with windows download manager, or firefox downloadthemall and achieve 600+kbps

but when i try to access my email or browse internet websites, they constantly time out. Sounds like a comcast dns issue right?
