I have a Canon S520 Printer and its going all weird.... have a look




got any idea what might cause that?

AMD Athlon64 2800+
1GB DDR400
223GB (formatted) RAID-0 (2 120GB S-ATAs)
Radeon 9550 256MB DDR w/ Thermaltake
Funky crazy lights

Did you try running the print cartridge alligning software? Most colour printers have some kind of alligning utility you can run.

Well that is odd. I would say its driver issue myself, pop in the CD that came with the printer, then reinstall all the crappy software.

I dont have the cd and the software came from the canon website

ok i fixed it
there is a clear magnetic strip used as a guide line for the head... it tells the printer where the head is... that had some grease on it from the guide bar. cleaner off she works fine

a picture of christina guilera.. i baught the prtiner and wanted to try it so i used the first picture i came to. anwyasy it prints great now ill show you a scan of the same picture i printed once i get it scanned.

no it was jsut plain white paper... i just wanted to test the printer (yardsale buy)

ill put a bunch on printed from my other printers... ill use heavy weght or photo 4x6s
