| Has Absolutely no life | I wasn't clear enough. In Thunderbird how do I change the settings from pop to IMAP without having to make a new account. | |

| Moderator | I haven't used thunderbird in a while, but I would say that if there isn't an option in tools>>accounts then try to modify the account and if there isnt an option in there to select imap you may not be able to do it without creating a new account in thunderbird | |

| Too old to be this dumb! | Short answer is: You can't. Rather, you can, if your convoluted hacking skills are up to it, but it's easier to just make a new account and move the messages and rules over to that account. See below.
