Ok a friend of mine whos swedish and on the BBB 10/10 ISP is having problems sending me large files at a decent speed. I'm on 10mb/384kb and I'm downloading off him at 40kbs roughly, on DC++ / mirc / msn / ftp(from hdd). I;ve tried altering it to passive but it makes no difference. I'm the only one who has problems - baring in mind I'm on Englands largest ISP - others are on different ISP's but I'm the one getting problems.

Any idea what we can try? hes gota send me a 4.2GB 'MOTION PICTURE' and 40kb/s isn't cutting it.

40kb/s is a fairly decent upload speed for someone in sweden.

why dont you just download it off bittorrent if its too slow?

I got a lot more than 40kb/s. It must have something to do with Blueyonder upgrading everybody to 4mb and 10mb connections. I've heard there has been some minor problems. My area hasn't been done yet.

I just uninstalled Framework 2.2 installed Framework 1.1 and now I'm getting 70kbs. This is damn strange. I also tested my connection with a swedish speed tester and my speeds are perfect I got 10.10mb down 400kbs up. Really annoying me this
