Spyware

I cant get rid of this crap on my comp.

I run spy bot and adaware, with both programs finding 10-30 items.....then as soon as i connect to IE again it kind of freezes, then pops up with

"media.fastclicknet" you have WON etc etc

any ideas?

#1 - Use Firefox
#2 - Try following the member advice found here - In particular, the hijack this program.

Do you have a second computer you can use? If so remove the bad comps hard drive and install it in the other machine. Before you do that though, download and install spy sweeper and spyware doctor as well as ms antispyware (three is probably overkill but to be sure, just do it). After installing the other hard drive run the spyware programs, rebooting between runs. After doing that run an antivirus program, do an online scan using housecall.antivirus.com or http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner.

Then reinstall the drive, install netfront and add the adblock extension.

If you don't have a second comp then do as I said above but on the bad comp, after running everything and rebooting between scans, be sure to log off and log back on as any other users you have, you have to repeat this process for every user you have on your comp.
