| | So i want to do a remote desktop connection, alittle confuse | permalink #1 |
| P/T State Worker | I want to have my desktop just sit there so i can use my laptop to browse through my desktop pc, switch back and forth... how would i go about doing this? i enabled it on my pc in my windows firewall to allow remote desktop... thanks for the help... | |

| the game belongs to me | you need xp pro on both computers (not really sure about the both computers part) , then you just launch the remote desktop wizard, specify ip, windows username, etc. and your off to go. but i wouldn't do that because its pretty slow, at least for me. | |

| P/T State Worker | i think i got it, i didn't enable users to connect to the computer that i wanted to connect to, i think i need to setup a password... thanks though for the help yeah i got it!! sweet.... | |

| Banned | Get a program called RealVNC. That way you can remote from any machine with java enabled browser. | |
