raid question

i have 2 options to go with on my new compy and i would like some help

both will be in raid 0

1 - i can get 2 10,000 rpm hds with sata1

or

2 - i can get 2 7,200 rpm hds with sata2

which would be better?

from what i read the 2 10KRPM Hds would be a better solution due to most of the bottleneck being in the mechanical part of the drives.

If I had the money I would buy a SATA Raid Card and a second 36GB Raptor.

The single Raptor alone is amazing, but hell...to stripe them would rock.

Not to mention that SATA-II drives...I dunno...doesn't seem worth it, unless they have 16MB Cache on them and support NCQ.
