| I grew up here | anybody know how to preselect a user at the windows logon screen so I just have to type in my password without clicking my name first? |

| Dont mess with old school | The only option I'm aware of is one that deletes or keeps the last users name in the logon screen. I can also make it so a particular user is autmatically logged in. |

| I grew up here | I don't want autologin, I'd prefer a modicum of security. i'm just lazy and want my name pre-clicked on |

| Rogue One | If you're using XP, can't you just turn off the Welcome screen from the Users applet in the Control Panel? The Win2K-style logon screen will keep the last username you used, so all you need to do is type in your password. |

| I grew up here | I knew about the win2k logon style. I use it on my laptop. This isn't what i wanted, but its the best of what you guys have given me I don't want to log in automatically, i just want the password field highlighted! |
