| Senior Member | Ok here's the deal. I am going to build my parents a computer next week, I ordered the parts tonight. I screwed up on one thing, like I always do. So I need some advice. The case I bought says it has a 20-pin power supply plug and the MOBO that I got says it has a 24-Pin power jack/plug. Soooo, I am in a bit of a pickle. I thought to my self, well what if there is an adapter? So I looked on newegg and I did find something that looked like what I needed. But before I go and order something I want to make sure it is right.....so could you guys please check this out for me. CASE: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811147019 MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131578 and MY Fix???: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812201001 Please let me know if that looks correct. |

| Freedom Fighter | Hmmm, looks ok to me. Personal things is I'd worry about proper power conversion, but the reviews stated it did fine. Personally (And I do get anal about my computers) I'd see if you can RMA the case, or if it wasnt that expensive just get a 24 pin one. |

| outside the box! | My thermaltake PSU came with the 24-20 pin adapter. This I didn't know so I ordered a real cool one along with the PSU...now I have two. I won't trust the pos psu's that are included in cases. That is something I'm not will to comprimise on. |

| Tweak Minion | I agree with wiskas, power supplies can cause problems that will have you chasing ghosts. Your solution seems a good one and the reveiws on the adaptor were good but the power supply itself had bad reviews. If you like the case and won't have much demand for power, great, otherwise upgrade or return. |

| Paw? | I'm an Enermax fan myself. Sure they're a bit pricey. But I know it's a reliable brand. It's a damn tank! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817194001 |

| Senior Member | the demand for power should be super low, all this computer is gonna be is basically an internet machine for my parents. Looking at pictures and browsing the net will be the extent of this computers demands. |

| Tweak Minion | Go with the adaptor then, if you have trouble you know where to look first. |
