I haven't really used photoshop since PS7 was king. I now have the CS3 beta, and can't manage to properly make a square marquee with rounded edges. I've used the 'feather' feature, but when I use the paint bucket or delete I find it's got a soft edge, and blends it out.

I need a square marquee with a hard edge. How?

smokers are not people, they are walking advertisements for the cancer industry of america, they are polluters, and they are a nicotine epidemic -Torx

Makes sense to me!

Just use MS paint and copy/past the rounded square

Just make your marquee then go to select>modify>smooth and play around with the values until you get the look you want.

I hope you die

James. That is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

EDIT: New Question: How do you make the edge Anti-aliased but still hard?
