I reccomend one of these SLI boards
linky

Look into a dual layer burner

Seriously the Raptor isn't that great

Dual Core

Two of these in SLI

Ok you cheap bastard only get one of those or two of these
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150091

look here for a comparison of those cards in BF2.

I reccomend Nvidia cards over the ATIs right now because the nvidia cards have more advanced technology therefore are more future proof. And the XMS series rocks for overclocking, i would reccomend getting DDR500 or 550 though so you can really do at it.

I make myself laugh.

I'd rather have larger storage rather than a 10% increase in disk speed.

I also recommend a dual layer dvd burner, the benq dw1640 is one of the best drives out there right now.

the storage issue is really a non issue, i have a server colocated with over 500gb storage (not that i would use that much, gg best buy screwups)

also i already have a dual layer burner in my current compy, i just want a decent dvd drive and this one was a few $$ more than a regular drive so why not eh?

thanks so much for all the input guys, keep it coming

i'll prolly make the final selections and order tomorrow
