mobo, chip, videocard on a budget what you think?

So, I'm in the market for come new PC parts. Video Card mostly, but that means I gotta get a new mobo and chip: so heres what i'm looking at tell me what you think: May look into getting a higher end mobo or chip, prolly mobo but not really sure what all this newfangled shit means. I have no need for SLi but would like the most features for the money.
I've got an old ata HD i'll be using untill i can get an sata. Pretty much everthing else will be coming out of my old computer. (case, ram, cd, dvd. . . )

you should get a 6800 plain over a 6600GT, you can softmod the 6800 into a 6800GT
