Looking for a good intel cpu and a decent mobo.

That is a great cpu. might as well get the mobo+cpu combo that it shows on the bottom. thats a great motheboard and it has a $20 rebate making the motherboard just $85. And its a great mobo too, newest p45 chipset and its an ASUS.

I recently went with an E8400 and a Gigabyte DS3L which is a P45 as well and I'm extremely happy. There's a lot of overclocking potential in this thing too but I won't use it.

Just bought an e8400 and a gigabyte board.

Should be here tuesday or Wed.

Ill have an extra 5000x2 with mobo that ill probably throw up to give to somebody.
