Weee so I did go out and bought a new graphcis card...

ATI Radeon X850 XT 256MB RAM AGP ...

It friggin pwns. I've set everything I can to max in HL2 in 1280x960 and I have no slowdowns ...

Then I tried MOH:PA, with same results ...

Its just amazing how fast this damned thing is ...

*must get a copy of BF2*

The drivers that came with it on the disc work fine. Question for the Radeon users: should I use what ATI has to offer or get most recent Omega drivers ?

I have a similar system, except a 3400+ and a 6800 Ultra. BF2 stutters with 1gb ram, so don't expect to crank it too high.

You overclocked? You know that Athlon 64 is sitting at around 70% of its potential.

Nice Brofar!

My 6800GT gives me the same thing, but I admit, I wish I had waited to get the X850XT.
